Banana-Man for Schools
A free classroom companion for pre-K through 2nd grade — built on stories kids love, designed with teachers in mind.
What is Banana-Man?
The Epic of Banana-Man™ is a children's picture-book series created by Yaniv Hamudot and published since 2017: three books (The Great Banana Caper, The Great Giggle Rescue, The Little Light), animated films, and a growing library of free games, songs and stories. Banana-Man — a kind little hero in a purple cape, round glasses and red sneakers — and his Fruitville friends model the things early educators teach all day: kindness, sharing, trying again, and getting back up when you fall.
The curriculum, in plain terms
- Letter sounds & the alphabet — First Letters game: initial sounds anchored to the characters and fruits children already know.
- Counting 1–20 — Counting Bananas: one-to-one correspondence and number recognition with self-paced rounds.
- Colors — Find the Color!: eight colors, each tied to a familiar fruit or vegetable.
- Shapes — Find the Shape!: circle, square, triangle, rectangle, star and heart, embedded in everyday objects.
- Calendar, days & months — the printable Fruitville Calendar: month structure, today-marking, weekly routines.
- Feelings & kindness — a scripted, adult-reviewed "I feel sad" conversation in Talk to Banana-Man, plus stories built on helping and trying again.
- Songs & rhythm — three original sing-alongs with karaoke highlighting and printable lyrics.
Free for your classroom — really
Every printable on this site is free for classroom use, with our blessing and without a paywall:
- Coloring pages (5 now; the full 32-page coloring ebook is coming to Kindle — buy once for the school, print forever).
- The Fruitville Calendar + Giggles sheet — a wall calendar plus a tear-off sheet with a joke for every day of the month: an easy morning-routine moment.
- Story Time stories — five printable 3-minute stories for read-alouds and early reading practice, with more added regularly.
- Song lyric sheets — printable from the Songs page.
Print as many as your class needs.
Games & songs, ready for the smartboard or tablets
All games run in any modern browser — no installs, no logins, no in-app purchases. They're phone- and tablet-first, use big tap targets and simple words, and contain no timers and no fail states: a wrong tap earns an encouraging "try again" and a helpful wiggle, never a penalty. Explore Fruitville School and the Songs page.
Safety, plainly stated
- No advertising is served to children. The only pre-print card is about Banana-Man's own books.
- No accounts and no child data. Children never enter personal information; there is no typing box anywhere in the kids' areas.
- No tracking or analytics. Games, jokes and chats run entirely on the device — nothing leaves it.
- Scripted, not generated. Every word of the chat and joke features was written and reviewed by the creator.
- No purchases on-site. Books are sold by Amazon through grown-up pages.
